Mintlaw Woodcrafters designs and builds wooden entry doors, wooden screen doors and wooden passage doors for customers in the Peterborough and Kawarthas region. Customers include homeowners, cottagers, contractors and designers. All doors are individually handcrafted in a specialized door shop by one craftsman, so unusual sizes and unique designs are well within their capability. Unique amongst these is the ability to recreate historic designs. Individual designs can be made to achieve the customer's intended style with the careful use of mouldings, trims, and glass.

For those looking for wooden screen doors, we have simplified the process by having some standard designs you can view in our Screen Door section. Many customers are looking for fancy Victorian doors, and we have plenty of those. There is also a growing demand for Arts & Crafts style doors, and we have added these to our line. On the other hand, some customers just want a simple bunkhouse door but can’t find it in the size they need, so we have several inexpensive but well-built “slammers” as well.
